Brand: MB WAY

Warning

Mandatory review

All logo integrations must be reviewed for compliance. Please submit your implementation for validation to marketing@sibs.pt before launch.

Logotype

Main logo: positive and negative application

The main MB WAY logo is the institutional version of the Brand and should be used primarily in all communication materials, whenever space and legibility permit.
Consistent application of the main logo ensures immediate identification of the Brand and reinforces its credibility and recognition.

Main logo: black and white application

When colour reproduction is not possible, black and white versions of the logo are also available. However, the colour version should always be preferred.

Secondary logo: Positive and negative application

This version of the MB WAY logo should preferably be used in vertical compositions or in specific contexts where the main logo (horizontal) is not appropriate.
Whenever the MB WAY logo is applied alongside the MULTIBANCO logo in a vertical composition, this version should be used. It should follow the same application rules as the main logo, including security borders, colours, and proportions, always ensuring the best possible contrast between the logo and the background.

Symbol

The reduced version of the logo—with only the “MB” symbol—should be used sparingly and in contexts where the full version of the logo is not viable.
Whenever possible, the full version of the logo should be prioritised to ensure the brand’s identification and integrity.
The symbol may not be used in a single colour (black, white, or other).

Dimensions

Brand building and minimum sizes

The Brand’s identity may only be reduced to a size that does not imply total or partial loss of its visual identity. All elements must be reduced proportionally, always as a whole and never separated.
The logo must never be reduced to a size smaller than its minimum size of 20mm.

Safety margins

To maintain the integrity and legibility of the logo, safety margins have been defined. These margins must be maintained for each application.

Color

These are the brand colors and should be used as the main colors for all communications.

Background

Application on color

The logo should always be applied carefully, ensuring good visibility and contrast against the background. The logo should not be placed on poorly defined backgrounds or images that compromise its readability.

Incorrect usage

The examples shown on this page demonstrate typical cases of logo misuse:

  1. Use of colours other than black and white
  2. Changing the logo’s configuration
  3. Changing the brand’s main colours or inverting them
  4. Changing the orientation
  5. Using the brand in outline
  6. Distortions

Application with MULTIBANCO

Whenever the MB WAY logo is applied with the MULTIBANCO logo, the following guidelines must be followed to ensure proper association between both brands:

  • The MB WAY logo must always appear first, followed by the MULTIBANCO logo. Both logos must be applied at the same scale, proportionally respecting the height or width depending on the layout orientation.

  • If the composition is vertical, the vertical version of the logos must be used. For horizontal compositions, the horizontal version must be used.

  • Visual alignment between the two logos must be ensured, respecting the safety margins and spacing defined in each manual.

  • No changes to the colours, proportions, or graphic elements of either logo are permitted. All application, colour usage, and behaviour rules must strictly follow those defined in the MB WAY and MULTIBANCO Brand Guidelines, respectively.

  • We recommend using a neutral background or one with sufficient contrast to ensure legibility of both logos.
