Before you start

Before installing the plugin to accept payments, ensure that during the onboarding process, you have received the necessary credentials to your email:

  • Client ID
  • Terminal Code
  • Payment Entities (optional, required only if you want to enable payments with MB References)

You will also need access to the SIBS Backoffice, where you can find the following information:

Once you have these, you will be able to easily install and configure the plugin on your platform.

Step 1: Install the plugin
  1. You will receive a .zip file with the SIBS plugin during your onboarding process. 
  1. Login at your Prestashop admin area (https://yourwebsite/myadmin/) at the sidebar menu. First go to Module Manager, there click Upload a module, and finally upload the .zip file provided at the onboarding process.

Step 2: Access the plugin configurations

After installing, and whenever you need to make changes in your shop’s payment options, you can always access the plugin configuration going to the Modules section at the sidebar menu and go to Module Manager

After scrolling to the payment modules section, you can find SIBS plugin. Press Configure to access the configuration page.

Step 3: Payments general settings

After scrolling to the payment modules section, you can find SIBS plugin. Press Configure to access the configuration page. 

  1. Enter General Settings tab (Step 2: Access plugin settings). 
  2. Fill in the form with the credentials received during onboarding (Before you start). 
  3. Fill in the form with the Webhook Secret configured in SIBS Backoffice (Before you start).
  4. Click Save to save changes:

Our Prestashop payment gateway plugin supports a range of popular payment methods, including  MB WAY, MULTIBANCO References and Cards (VISA, Mastercard, etc.).

Transaction-mode

  • Pre-authorization: The customer authorizes the payment but is only charged after the marchent authorizes
  • Debit: Usual card payment
